How we work
Logicmaker Intelligence operates as a selective hybrid publisher. Authors participate in the investment required to develop and produce their books, while we provide an organized publishing process that may include editorial development, design, production, distribution, and market preparation.
Every project begins with an editorial review. We consider the strength of the idea, the author’s experience, the intended audience, the condition of the manuscript, and whether the project fits our publishing program. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

The specific responsibilities, investment, schedule, distribution plan, and financial arrangements for each project are established in a separate written agreement.
Author ownership
Authors retain the copyright to their original work. When a book is accepted, the author grants Logicmaker Intelligence the rights needed to edit, produce, publish, distribute, and market the book as defined in the publishing agreement.
We believe authors should understand how their work will be used, what each party is responsible for, and how the publishing relationship will operate before production begins.

Start with a proposal
Please do not send a complete unsolicited manuscript. Begin with a concise proposal that includes the working title, book premise, intended audience, author background, proposed table of contents, manuscript status, comparable books, and a representative sample chapter. If the proposal fits our program, Jacob Jackson may contact you to discuss the project and request additional material.

Submission does not create a confidential, editorial, or publishing relationship and does not guarantee a response or publication. Any publishing relationship begins only through a separate written agreement.
